Research Special Interest Group (SIG)

The Research Special Interest Group (SIG) has the following goals:

  1. Support an international, multi-site, collaborative research project related to adherence in the transplant population
  2. Complete development of nursing transplant scope and standards of practice
  3. Enhance communication among those interested in research through use of the member list and newsletter
  4. Develop additional research guides on pertinent research topics for ITNS members
  5. Continue to explore links with the Education and Advanced Practice SIGs to enhance evidenced-based practice
  6. Conduct Research Workshop at the 2009 ITNS Annual Symposium
  7. Explore adoption of evidence scoring guidelines for all ITNS presentations
  8. Continue to award ITNS research grants
