Abstract Reviewer
- Would you like to more actively involved in ITNS?
- Why not review abstracts for the annual symposium?
- Would you like to review transplant educational materials?
In addition to the annual symposium, ITNS develops a variety of educational materials each year. Ongoing projects include newsletter articles, patient handbooks, medication information, and continuing education web site offerings.
ITNS invites transplant professionals to consider increasing their involvement in organizational activities by reviewing abstracts for the annual symposium, as well as other educational materials.
Transplant professionals with writing and presentation experience should contact Cindy Russell, ITNS Research Committee Chair, at itns@msn.com.
Abstract reviewers will be asked to evaluate 5-10 abstracts based on specific criteria listed on an abstract review score sheet. Abstracts are sent to reviewers in early March and must be returned to ITNS within 10-14 days.
Reviewers are also needed throughout the year to review and critique various transplant educational materials. Assignments are based upon your area of expertise. Specific guidelines will be designed to address content, length and publication deadlines.
