Evidence Based Practice

Hello ITNS Members!

As Director of ITNS Research I am very interested in knowing what you all are currently doing to trying to encourage the use of evidence for practice in your settings.

Are you involved in groups or committees that are reviewing research literature e.g. journal club? Are you able to access research articles from your work computers or at home?

Several studies have indicated that even locating articles to read can be a barrier to using research evidence in practice.

Let me know what you are doing to try to use more research based care. I'd love to hear from you!
